Based on a Q-switched disk laser, the TruMicro 7050 realizes pulse durations at a magnitude of 1 µs with an average output of more than 500 W.

The beam is transported to the processing optics via a laser light cable with a core diameter of 100 µm. This results in a simple integration of the laser into production systems. Combining the laser and the power supply results in a compact machine design. Examples of applications for the TruMicro 7050 include remote cutting and material removal with the aid of a scanner optics.
