The laser is a universal tool for cutting, welding and for surface treatment. Being a non-contact tool, it is not subject to wear. The manifold advantages of material processing with the laser are utilized in a wide range of different applications. At the forefront are its outstanding flexibility, high machining speed and quality, coupled with the overall simplification of the process chain.
TRUMPF Laser- und Systemtechnik manufactures CO2 lasers in power ratings from 700 watts to 15 kilowatts, and is also a producer of laser machines. The product spectrum therefore ranges from lasers for integration in third-party installations and beam guidance systems, all the way to complex 5-axis laser machines for flexible 3D laser material processing as a stand-alone system or as part of a production line.
