Beam distribution in solid-state lasers to multiple machining stations

With this concept, the available laser energy from one or more solid-state lasers can be networked and intelligently shared amongst multiple machining stations. For this purpose, the TRUMPF solid-state lasers can be fitted with up to six exits. In the TRUMPF LASERNETWORK, communication between the individual components and the work station is the real challenge. The requisite information about the laser unit and the exact light path is transmitted with each laser light cable. This information is carried along even when a laser light cable is re-connected; consequently, the safety circuit is monitored at all times and laser safety is ensured.
 
Thanks to the TRUMPF LASERNETWORK, long waiting periods as well as power and beam restrictions are avoided. All the lasers are used to maximum capacity and uptime is boosted.
