TRUMPF Laser awarded for longtime participation in the trade show “Laser. World of Photonics“ |
| Munich, 06/19/2007 – Over 25 years of participation in the trade show ”LASER 2007. World of Photonics“ were the reason for the trade show organization Messe München GmbH to award the company TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG. Dr. Kurt Mann, director of sales for lasers of the TRUMPF laser technology business field, received the award as a certificate with a small present during the opening ceremony of this year’s LASER on June, 18. “We view the ‘LASER. World of Photonics’ as the leading international trade show for laser technology. As a platform for our huge variety of products in the field of laser beam sources it is very important for us to participate in it.“ When the trade show started in 1973 the company’s employees were only visitors of the fair. But at the second trade show in 1975 the company already participated as an exhibitor. Then, it was still part of the Carl Haas GmbH, who already began developing solid-state lasers in 1971. Since 1992 the former company HAAS-Laser, today TRUMPF Laser, has been part of the TRUMPF Group. Next to solid-state lasers TRUMPF’s laser technology business field offers CO2 laser as beam sources, marking lasers and systems as well as laser systems for cutting, welding and surface treatment of 3-D-parts. |
