To suit market demand, the TruLaser Cell 8030 has been specially developed for the laser cutting of hot-formed 3D structural components. The new machine can be integrated optimally into a high-productivity environment and used flexibly for further cutting applications. The use of the solid-state laser keeps part costs lower than those of the CO2 laser, and productivity higher.
Furthermore the machine is of very compact design. The switch cabinets integrated into the machine frame minimize the footprint and ensure rapid start-up.
Non-productive times have been sharply reduced by optimized control sequences. The machine also has a highly dynamic rotation changer with shortened turning time.
The large amount of contamination created during the cutting of hot-formed components places a huge strain on any machine. This is why TruLaser Cell 8030 has a three-stage system that ensures the machine’s production safety in the long term.
1. Reduction of airborne cutting emissions
The patented and fully integrated extraction system creates a controlled airflow in the working area and increases extraction effectiveness several times over. Your advantage: less contamination both inside and outside the working area.
2. Optimization of the protection mechanism
New developed bellows significantly reduce the amount of the deposit of cutting emissions. This results in a markedly increase in bellows service life. Your advantage: less probability of contamination reaching the guideways through the bellows.
3. Optimization of the bearings and the lubrication system
All bearings are additionally protected against potential contamination. The lubrication system has also been optimized with new, patented felt pinions. Your advantage: the bearings have longer service life and higher availability.
The new safety concept allows a flexible and optimal part logistics and reduced travel distances during loading and unloading.
Newly developed functions such as the visual slug detection ObserveLine also further improve component quality, increasing the safety of the production process.

There can be all kinds of different reasons why a slug gets lodged inside a finished part, resulting in problems during subsequent operations. ObserveLine is an optical measuring method enabling every single contour on an entire cut part to be checked. Optical measurement has the following advantages over measurement using a distance control:
Improves and optimizes the accuracy of the machine during piercing for cutting the contour. Depending on the type of material and its thickness, as well as the number of contours that need to be cut, productivity can be increased by up to 60 percent, without having to dispense with affecting proscessing safety.
Enables process-controlled adjustment of the focus position, depending on the type and thickness of the material. Adjustment of the position takes place via an autofocus mirror immersed via water pressure, influencing its surface curvature.
TruTops Cell enables you to carry out typical adjustments directly at the machine, simply and safely. TruTops Cell Basic shows the tool path as well as all changes made immediately on the screen of the machine.
