The TruDisk disk laser combines the advantages of a solid-state laser with those of a diode laser. The diode laser, as the pump source, provides the excitation energy and ensures high efficiency. The disk, as a solid-state laser, ensures high beam quality.

Robust

When scaling laser power, the internal laser power density of the TruDisk laser always remains in the safe range. Its patented resonator design makes the TruDisk insensitive to back reflection.

Redundancy inclusive

The pump modules - like all components of the TruDisk lasers - have a long service life. If a module still fails, the pump diodes cover for each other. The power in the remaining modules is automatically increased so that no power loss occurs at the workpiece. The failed pump module can be replaced at your leisure and without interrupting production in just a few minutes.

Plug & Play

Disk lasers by TRUMPF have a modular construction. Individual components can be easily and quickly replaced by the user in the field. All components have long service lives and are ideally tuned to one another. The beam path is integrated into the housing. Up to six fiber-optic laser cables can be connected to one TruDisk and are easy to replug, even when you are working on the other outputs. Upgrades of laser power and number of outputs in the field are also possible.

Scaner laser welding

Whenever many welds must be performed in close proximity to one another, high-efficiency scanner laser welding is the right choice. Several hundred thousand scanner welds are carried out every day by TRUMPF disk lasers - in automotive production and suppliers - on doors, flaps, seats, and a variety of other components.

Hybrid laser welding

Using hybrid laser welding, thick sheets can be connected with large joining gaps. Due to its insensitivity to back reflections, the disk laser is the ideal laser tool for this application. Hybrid welding is used in automotive production, truck construction, shipbuilding, crane construction, the production of heavy machinery and construction machines, and in many other areas.
